How Manipulation Causes Severe Damage On The Human Body...

Manipulation is used in nearly every endeavor encountered throughout an average day. It is used in things ranging from day to day commercials all the way to political campaigns. Leaving any person with access to the world vulnerable to manipulation. Webster dictionary defines manipulation as , â€Å"to control or play upon by artful, unfair, or insidious means especially to one s own advantage†. Commonly, things such as a physical state, relationships, mental state, and innocence and humanity do not survive due to the manipulation of outward forces (environment, role model, and incentive). Conditions in camps included a bowl of broth for supper each day, a wooden cot to be shared with one or more bunkmates, the harsh winter of Germany, forced manual labor, numerous diseases (i.e. lice), and even the removal of gold crowns and valuable items. (Wiesel). People outside of camps suffered as well which is evident when the conditions of how Anne Frank lived are viewed. Those in the annex could hardly move or make a sound all day long. According to Vicdan Cangrisi, a notable journalist, approximately six million people were murdered in the course of the Holocaust. The oration of a single man, Adolf Hitler, caused nearly all of Germany to blame the Jewish community for the economic decline of Germany and began the persecution of an entire race. This persecution lead to the manipulation of the environment for Jews and lead to the death of six million people and life long physical ailments for countless others.
